Battery-powered torque wrench up to 7.000Nm with only 8,8kg – the MB-RAD

For bolting connections of wind turbines at foundation, flange, rotor blade, blade bearing, azimuth drive and a lot more, the MB-RAD has proven itself in the last years. With torque/angle controlled shut-off, limit value monitoring and even bolt fastening in the opposite direction, the battery-powered torque wrench can be equipped with a documentation system or even the worker guidance system ProTight™. At construction of the towers the crane time should be as short as possible. Since the MB-RAD is certified for crane assemblies by LIEBHERR, these operations can also be done in an optimal and fast way.

Hydraulic bolting technology in the offshore

At assembly and maintenance in the offshore, adverse conditions prevail especially for bolted connections in the underwater area with a result of high costs and safety issues. For that M-PT offers qualitative and durable hydraulic torque wrenches. And also here the development department of M-PT continues to work steadily for an even safer and more effective operation of the tools. The hydraulic pump HEM 7 enables, thanks to powerful technology and a seamless documentation system, process reliable bolting connections. The operator can work without a torque table, because the target torque is set directly on the digital remote control in 1Nm-steps.
