Germany - HusumWind 2007 - Trade Fair for Wind Energy

18 – 22 September 2007

The anniversary event of the HUSUMwind, held from 18 – 22 September 2007, will be no exception. Organised for the tenth time, the HUSUMwind follows the tradition of its predecessor to accommodate even more exhibitors on further extended exhibition grounds.
This has been verified by reliable figures revealed at the first meeting of the Advisory Board in Kiel on 12 October: 81% of the hall and open-air space available have already been booked.

284 exhibition stands are registered to date, including several joint presentations from abroad of up to 20 sub-exhibitors. A minimum of six countries are presumed to be represented with their own stands: Denmark, Great Britain, France, Spain, the USA, and Canada. In addition, there will also be five joint exhibitors from Germany. Currently, the registrations have already increased by in excess of 22%, with 13% more space sold than at the same time before the HUSUMwind 2005. It may be presumed that approx. 600 exhibitors will be presenting their products and services to the 16,000 visitors currently expected for late summer 2007.

So far, the hall space has already been extended by around 7%. Where necessary, however, further space can be added. Based on the current planning, the hall space, including open-air site, available totals 18,750 sqm.

Only one visitors entrance to the exhibition grounds
To encourage visits to previously less frequented sections in halls 1-4, access to the HUSUMwind will be restricted to one visitors entrance and exit. This will be located centrally at the shuttle bus stop for Schwesing airport as a P+R car park, for Hamburg airport, the Husum train station, and the Husum town centre.

Car park 2 will remain reserved for exhibitors. After initial registration as an exhibitor in the main entrance area, direct access to the exhibition grounds will be granted via the B 5 footbridge for any further visit to the exhibition grounds.

In the run-up to the fair, even greater efforts than before will be made to increase the visitors’ awareness of the Park and Ride car parks and the appropriate shuttle options.
