WINDPOWER 2007 Conference & Exhibition
On behalf of everyone responsible for the WINDPOWER 2007 Conference and Exhibition, we invite you to join us in Los Angeles this June! This year's Conference, with over 400 exhibitors and over 6000 expected attendees, will be THE place to learn about industry developments and visit with colleagues old and new in America's fastest growing energy sector.
Our Conference theme - "Growing the Wind Energy Business" - is an indicator of how far our industry has come, and how far it can go, as wind energy becomes a mainstream player in the energy marketplace. Our Conference will highlight the issues, policies, technology advances and other factors which are contributing to our industry's tremendous growth, as well as the barriers which still need to be overcome to make wind energy an even greater component of the U.S. electricity mix.
WINDPOWER 2007 will once again offer a number of informative business and technical sessions (drawn from over 450 abstracts suggested by industry participants) and this year, for the first time, a series of focused scientific sessions for those who would like an even more in-depth discussion of some of our industry's technical issues. Whether you are a business person, engineer, policy maker, adviser, student, or anyone else interested in wind energy, this year's Conference has something for you.
We are honored to serve as Program Chairs for this year's Conference and thank AWEA board liaison Brian McNiff and the entire Staff of AWEA for all of their hard work in organizing what is sure to be an outstanding Conference.
We hope to see you in Los Angeles!
