Taiwan - Taiwanese manufacturers to take part for the 1st time in an annual wind energy exhibition
Thirteen Taiwanese manufacturers are expected to take part for the first time in an annual wind energy exhibition slated for June in Texas, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) officials said yesterday.
TAITRA will set up a Taiwan pavilion consisting of 18 booths at the show, the officials said.
Scheduled for June 1-4 in Houston, Windpower 2008 is North America's largest annual event for the wind energy industry. This year's participants are expected to include such leading manufacturers as GE Energy, Gamesa Wind US, Vestas, Repower Systems AG and Siemens Wind Power.
