Akita Katagami Wind Firm LLC signs agreement for 22 units of GE 3.2-103 wind turbines / This is the largest order in terms of wind farm capacity for this large turbine class, designed specifically for Japan’s wind conditions / Will provide power to the equivalent of 40,000 households in Japan / Project includes 15-year service agreement and establishment of a local service & maintenance facility in Akita
GE Renewable Energy today announced an agreement with Shimizu Corporation to supply 22 units of GE’s 3.2-103 wind turbines, for the Akita Katagami wind farm in the Akita prefecture in northern Japan.
