Test Bed

Dynamica Ropes strive towards creating safer offshore and onshore solutions, and therefore many ropes and slings produced by Dynamica Ropes are proof loaded before leaving the facilities in Fredericia.

The Proof Load is done in the in-house Test Bed, which can tests upwards of 500 t and have a effective test length of 35 meters. The Proof Load certificate is issued after test, and we also offer a video service on request. The Proof Loading of ropes and slings ensures that the products have the expected strength and meet other technical requirements like precise length or a certain level of elongation at given load.

The Test Bed is also used for destructive pull testing – Break Tests are done in order to determine whether the sling or rope is safe for the intended operation. Dynamica Ropes open the doors for end-users and other manufacturers and, therefore, the Test Bed is open for rental. There is great value in testing of safer fiber products and Dynamica Ropes are proud to take part in creating safer solutions for both onshore and offshore industries.
