USA - CCI/Ryan To Erect Alstom Wind Turbines In Minnesota

Carstensen Contracting Inc. and Ryan Companies US Inc. (CCI/Ryan) has been selected to erect Alstom-manufactured wind turbines for the 20 MW Danielson wind farm, located near Atwater, Minnesota.
The Alstom wind turbines have a generating capacity of 1.67 MW each and a design that is optimized for medium to low winds, according to the companies.
The CCI/Ryan team is responsible for construction of roads and foundations, installation of the collection system and erection of the wind turbines. The wind energy project began in late 2010 and is expected to be completed later this month.
