Oliver Heinecke resigns from REpower supervisory board

Hamburg, 10 October 2008. Oliver Heinecke, member of the supervisory board of REpower Systems AG (WKN 617 703), has informed the supervisory board’s chairman about his resignation of the supervisory board with effect from 23 October 2008, as he will leave the company at the end of year.

Oliver Heinecke has been appointed member of the supervisory board since 30 May 2006 as one of two employee representatives. At REpower the 38 year-old is responsible for the transport and installation logistics of the company’s offshore projects.

Both, the REpower executive board and the supervisory board thank Mr. Heinecke for his valuable work in the past years.
