BWEA29: UK leading renewable energy conference comes to Glasgow
BWEA the UK’s leading renewable energy body is holding its annual conference in Glasgow in October 9th – 11th.
Leading speakers include UK Energy Minister Malcolm Wicks MP, Scottish Energy Minister Jim Mather MSP, EU Ambassador to the UK Reijo Kemppinen and Xavier Viteri Solaun, head of the largest renewables operator in the world, Iberdrola Energias Renovables.
The conference agenda itself is packed with debate and discussion across the full range of issues facing the industry. Issues to be covered include from the impact of Renewables Obligation banding; the problems of grid access and connection; finance and economics and the increasingly high profile issue of working at height.
The three day conference will take place at the Glasgow Convention Centre from Tuesday 9th October until Thursday October 11th. Press facilities will include:
- Media badge and pack
- A press room, with computer and phone facilities (Etive Room, Ground Floor, Loch Suite, SECC)
- Access to all conference open sessions
- Free invitations to two conference networking sessions (Civic Reception, hosted by the Lord Provost of Glasgow, City Chambers, George Square qt 7pm on Monday Oct 8th and the Conference Reception at 7.30 in the Glasgow Science Centre, adjacent to SECC)
To register for BWEA29 please contact bwea@tenalpslive.com to register for their press pass, giving their name, job title, organization and which day(s) they wish to attend. You will then register them for complimentary conference / exhibition passes which can be collected on arrival.
