A large number of wind turbines have been erected in mountainous areas. This has enabled us to carry out numerous energy production calculations and to verify them against actual wind turbines.

We calculate the energy yield of planned turbines. The evaluation of a wind resource will be carried out with wind data measured at the site, wind data measured in the proximity of the site and long term wind data, measured independently of the site.

The well known Software WAsP is used. In very complex terrain with high inclinations CFD models (Computational Fluid Dynamics) will be used.

Possible long term fluctuations in the annual energy yield and the mean wind speed will be predicted.

Existing wind indices can be used if available and suitable. We compile individual wind indices for a site or a region by using long term data.

Uncertainty analysis quantifies the expected level of accuracy of the calculated energy yield or wind resource map.

One of our fields is the search for Wind Energy sites worldwide.

Wind resource maps will be created to show the mean Wind Speed in certain areas. Mean annual energy yields (AEP) of certain WTG Types can also be demonstrated.

We advise you about the accuracy possible with the available input data and also about the necessity of further wind measurements.
