AWEA Wind Resource & Project Energy Assessment Workshop
The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) presents its second annual 2-day workshop on Wind Resource and Project Energy Assessment. Suitable for the novice and expert alike, the workshop will strive to explore these topics in detail, with case studies and in depth discussions of the issues.
Workshop Topics:
Topics to be covered include:
- Overviews of Current Practices
- How Well Have They Done?
- Recent Studies of Wind Speeds in North America
- Identifying and Reducing Wind Measurement Bias and Uncertainty
- Identifying and Reducing Data Analysis Bias and Uncertainty
- Identifying and Reducing Flow Modeling Bias and Uncertainty
- Identifying and Reducing Bias and Uncertainty in Technical Loss
