Delivering for Onshore Wind Customers
- Delivered approximately 1,550 total turbines and repower kits in 4Q, our biggest quarter of deliveries in history

Growing globally
FULL YEAR
- Announced that GE has secured 1,215 MW onshore wind orders or commitments in 2019 in China, enough to power the equivalent of 850,000 homes

- Selected to supply 26 Cypress onshore wind turbines to the 143 MW Blåbergsliden wind farm, the second project in Sweden to use Cypress platform turbines
- Will provide 25 Cypress onshore wind turbines and 20 years of operation and maintenance (O&M) services for EDF Renewables’ Ventos da Bahia wind farm in Brazil
- Chosen by EDF Renewables and ESB to supply the two electrical substations, plus electrical design work for the 450 MW NnG offshore wind project in the Scottish North Sea
- Completed the next major milestone in the Champa-Kurukshetra ultra-high-voltage direct current (UHVDC) project in India, allowing for the transmission of 4,500 MW of electricity, more than any other link in the country
- Connected first fish-friendly Bulb turbine of the Don Sahong hydropower plant in Lao PDR to the grid

OFFSHORE
- The Haliade-X was recognized by TIME magazine as one of the top 100 inventions of 2019 in the Sustainability category
- LM Wind Power designed the first-ever blade beyond 100 meters in length, the 107meter blade for the Haliade-X that won the 2019 gold medal for innovation in blades from Wind Power Monthly.
ONSHORE
- Popular Science magazine hailed GE’s 2.5-120 onshore turbine, one of the company’s most popular wind turbine models, as one of the twenty biggest discoveries of the decade
