• Total orders of $16.9B up 10% for year; Backlog up 16% for year to over $27.5B
• Signed offshore wind commitments for nearly 5 GW:
  • 3.6 GW Dogger Bank project in UK, the world’s largest offshore wind farm
  • 1.2 GW for Orsted US projects in Maryland and New Jersey
• Announced over 1,000 MW of orders for Cypress platform turbines, GE Renewable Energy’s most powerful onshore wind turbine featuring a unique two-piece blade design from LM Wind Power
• Pledged to be 100 percent carbon neutral as
  GE Renewable Energy by end of 2020
• Reorganized business to include Grid Solutions, de-layered Onshore Wind to get closer to customers, and added a Hybrids business to serve this promising segment

On Track to Commercialize Haliade-X by 2021

• Our prototype unit in Rotterdam has been successfully been installed and is now generating electricity. We have started doing the testing needed to obtain its Type Certificate

Growing Services Business

• Revenues from Services, including repower kits, across the Renewable Energy portfolio were above $3B for TY19, up 7% year-over-year

Delivering for Onshore Wind Customers

• Delivered approximately 1,550 total turbines and repower kits in 4Q, our biggest quarter of deliveries in history
• Generated 3,100 MW of sales in Q4 worldwide, up 36 % year over year. Total year sales of over 9,500 MW up 40% year over year

Growing globally

FULL YEAR

• Announced that GE has secured 1,215 MW onshore wind orders or commitments in 2019 in China, enough to power the equivalent of 850,000 homes 

4Q

• Selected to supply 26 Cypress onshore wind turbines to the 143 MW Blåbergsliden wind farm, the second project in Sweden to use Cypress platform turbines
• Will provide 25 Cypress onshore wind turbines and 20 years of operation and maintenance (O&M) services for EDF Renewables’ Ventos da Bahia wind farm in Brazil
• Chosen by EDF Renewables and ESB to supply the two electrical substations, plus electrical design work for the 450 MW NnG offshore wind project in the Scottish North Sea
• Completed the next major milestone in the Champa-Kurukshetra ultra-high-voltage direct current (UHVDC) project in India, allowing for the transmission of 4,500 MW of electricity, more than any other link in the country
• Connected first fish-friendly Bulb turbine of the Don Sahong hydropower plant in Lao PDR to the grid

OFFSHORE

• The Haliade-X was recognized by TIME magazine as one of the top 100 inventions of 2019 in the Sustainability category
• LM Wind Power designed the first-ever blade beyond 100 meters in length, the 107meter blade for the Haliade-X that won the 2019 gold medal for innovation in blades from Wind Power Monthly.

ONSHORE

• Popular Science magazine hailed GE’s 2.5-120 onshore turbine, one of the company’s most popular wind turbine models, as one of the twenty biggest discoveries of the decade
