Horizon 2020 – Support for Vertical Sky®

Horizon 2020 is the eighth generation of the research framework programs of the European Union. In addition to the three priority areas of "Excellence in Science", "Industry Leadership" and "Societal Challenges", Horizon 2020 also finances measures of the Competitiveness Program for SMEs. Horizon 2020 promotes companies with the potential to advance the European Economic Area in terms of economic and industrial competitiveness through innovative performance and research.

Agile Wind Power AG applied for this support and was accepted. The sponsorship of the large and quiet vertical axis wind turbine, Vertical Sky® A 32, with a rated output of 750 kilowatts for the development of de-centralized energy markets has been achieved!

Phase-1-financing started on August 1, 2019. The entire AWP team is very pleased with this decision. AWP wants to enable the self-generation of electricity to make energy available to everyone and everywhere.
