SeaRenergy acquires engineering & permit specialist Elbe-1
Image: SeaRenergyWhereas SeaRenergy provides engineering, marine services, QHSE and Offshore Professionals for installation and O&M of offshore windfarms and platforms, Elbe-1 offers specialists and support for the planning of offshore wind farms globally, including but not limited to process of design, certification and permits.
Elbe-1 founder Hagen Heesch remains the Managing Director of the company and will also contribute to the further growth and development of SeaRenergy group in the international offshore wind industry.
“The umbrella of SeaRenergy will enable the Elbe-1 team to grow its business not only by relying on the additional resources and expertise of the new colleagues but will also enable us to present a much stronger setup to our clients and to the overseas markets in USA, Japan, Taiwan and others”, Hagen Heesch, MD of Elbe-1.

The acquisition became effective on 27th of July and the joint work has already commenced.
