Even more national delegations at WindEnergy 2006

The current status of national participation is another indicator of how the WindEnergy has established itself in recent years as an outstanding event in the global wind market. There will be national pavilions representing the wind industries of the USA, UK, Denmark, Spain, Norway and Sweden.

"We are delighted at the great interest of so many countries in presenting themselves by means of joint stands, and also by national presentations in our extensive supporting programme dialog@WindEnergy," says Peter Bergleiter, Project Manager of this international premier event. "That demonstrates once more how important our trade fair is as an information platform for the internationally active industry."

The participation by these delegations is not just a matter of "flying the flag" for their country and their wind energy market, he adds. These joint stands are the gateway for many manufacturers, project developers and equipment suppliers to the international business -bilateral information and technology exchange with the major exhibitors also gives smaller companies and new entrants an opportunity to "get their foot in the international door".
