BBB Umwelttechnik GmbH: BBB reaches second round of the German medium-sized-business award
Gelsenkirchen, 30.06.2011. BBB Umwelttechnik GmbH stood up to over 3000 nominees of the German medium-sized-business award. The technical consulting firm specializing in wind energy reached the second round of the contest and is now competing with 800 other companies, organizations, institutions and municipalities.
For the 17th time the Oskar-Patzelt-foundation is searching for the best German medium-sized-business of the year. According to the regulations the companies can not apply for this contest, they have to be nominated by institutions, organizations, chambers, associations or personalities. For the mayor of Gelsenkirchen it is clear: “BBB Umwelttechnik GmbH is one ofthe leading companies in the promising sector of renewable energies in our city.” For that reason he nominated the company for the award.
“We are part of the structural change of the former industrial area Ruhrgebiet. This nomination motivates us to even try harder.” said Joachim Binotsch, general manager of BBB Umwelttechnik GmbH. Especially because of reaching the second round of the contest makes him proud.
On 24th September there will be a ceremony for the winners of the regions Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate/Saarland and Schleswig-Holstein. On this occasion the companies taking part of the nationwide final in Berlin on 22nd October will be announced.
