MOOG TO UNVEIL NEW CONTROL TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENTS AT THE HANNOVER MESSE
Böblingen, 28 March 2011 - Leading motion control technology specialist Moog Inc. will unveil two brand new developments at the Hannover Messe (Hannover Fair) from April 4 to 8. It will also highlight several other products it has introduced in recent months.
The Hannover Messe is the world's largest industrial trade exhibition and a showcase for the latest products and developments in manufacturing and engineering. Moog's exhibit on stand B23 in Hall 23 will highlight its position as a leading supplier of tailored hydraulic, electric and hybrid motion control solutions for the industrial market, together with its capabilities in wind energy.
High-performance electro-mechanical actuators for failsafe operation in gas turbines are the first of the two new developments. The actuators provide safer, more compact and more cost-effective performance for the power generation market. The second is a complete range of ATEX-certified Digital Interface Valves (DIVs) for use in explosive environments. The ATEX DIVs come with state-of-the-art digital electronics designed with Moog's extensive experience of operating in harsh and explosive environments.
Further new products and solutions on display on the Moog stand will e.g. include: its four-channel Portable Test Controller - a digital servo controller that can be used for manual control, constant amplitude tests and high performance handling of complex testing formulas and for the wind energy market, a pitch system introduced last year featuring a new Moog Wind Turbine Pitch Motor and enhanced Servo Drive (Pitchmaster II+) that meets the requirements of offshore, cold climate version (CCV) or hot climate version (HCV) wind turbine designs.
