Germany - Tallest aerial work platform offered in North America

Anton Ruthmann’s Steiger Model TTS 1000 has a 328-ft working height and is available to rent from Abilene High Lift Aerial in Texas

A German manufacturer offers the tallest aerial work platform in North America. Anton Ruthmann’s Steiger Model TTS 1000 has a 328-ft working height and is available to rent from Abilene High Lift Aerial in Texas.

Features include: 1,102-lb platform capacity, 131-ft horizontal reach, and capability of operating with wind speeds up to 35.8 mph. The platform is mounted on a six-axle trailer powered by a Mack Granite Series truck using a 505-hp diesel engine. The trailer/truck configuration gives the unit maneuverability for turning sharp corners and accessing confined areas.

The platform is suitable for those needing to access wind turbine nacelles, building exteriors, antennas, and other tall structures. It can be set-up by one person in 15 to 20 minutes, according to the company, and eliminates the need for climbing structures or using man-baskets hung from cranes. A pressurized water outlet and 110/220-volt outlets in the platform also enhance worker productivity.

Technical Specifications:
- Unmatched Stability
- Safety Priority One
- 16 Meter/Second (35.8 MPH wind capability)
- Highest Most Stable Machine In North America
- 328 ft Vertical Reach
- 131 ft Horizontal Reach
- 1102 Pounds Maximum Carrying Capacity
