Germany - Andreas Nauen to be named CEO of REpower on the 1 July 2010

Supervisory Board of REpower Systems AG has agreed upon the appointment of Andreas Nauen as member and chairman of the Executive Board

Supervisory Board of REpower Systems AG has agreed upon the appointment of Andreas Nauen as member
and chairman of the Executive Board (as Chief Executive Officer) in its meeting on 23 June 2010.

With the revision of the original resolution dated on 15 March 2010, Mr Nauen will now be taking office on 1 July 2010. His contract provides for an appointment term of three years as from 1 July 2010 and includes an optional extension for another term of two years.

As planned, the current chairman of the Executive Board Per Hornung Pedersen has resigned from his office as chairman of the Executive Board with effect as of 30 June 2010 and will remain a member of the Executive Board as Chief Market Officer.
