USA - North Dakota hires Deyton Bell to attract wind energy firms

“It’s very important that we make European turbine and turbine component manufacturers aware of the range of wind industry resources and opportunities that await them in North Dakota”

The State of North Dakota, already a major destination for the development of wind energy in the United States, has now retained Deyton Bell, the Cambridge based professional services firm, for their international business development expertise.

North Dakota is already home to DMI Industries, which produces commercial wind towers, and Denmark-based LM Glasfiber, which manufactures fiberglass blades for the industry. Now, the State of North Dakota has retained Deyton Bell, the UK based professional services firm offering international business development services, to attract manufacturers of turbine generators and turbine component parts to complement North Dakota’s existing wind energy equipment makers.

North Dakota is already a major destination for the development of wind energy in the United States. The State offers an outstandingly attractive set of opportunities to wind energy businesses. To help maximize the potential that exists, Deyton Bell will approach and engage with European wind energy businesses on behalf of State Officials.

Commenting on this initiative, John Hoeven, Governor of North Dakota, said “It’s very important that we make European turbine and turbine component manufacturers aware of the range of wind industry resources and opportunities that await them in North Dakota,” he said. “North Dakota offers wind energy businesses a great base on which to build a US operation, and our renewable energy team is ready and willing to do all we can to help businesses establish themselves here. North Dakota is a great place to live and work.”

Chris Parkhouse, Managing Director of Deyton Bell, the Cambridge-based business development specialists said: “We are pleased and proud to have been asked to work with the Governor’s team in North Dakota. We’ll be operating across the UK and Europe to engage with the wind energy industry on behalf of the State, and we are excited that we have this opportunity to work with so many European businesses.”
