USA - WPCS completes renewable wind energy project in Illinois

WPCS International Incorporated, a leader in design-build engineering services for specialty communication systems and wireless infrastructure, has announced that, through its Max Engineering subsidiary, it has completed a renewable wind energy project that encompasses the construction and installation of a wind turbine for Sherrard Community Unit School District located in Rock Island County, Illinois.

The wind turbine is designed to generate a clean alternative energy source for the school district and is expected to provide a large percentage of the electrical energy required. The Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation, established to invest in clean energy development and land preservation efforts, supported this project with a grant.
