Symposium "Vibration of Wind Turbines": Call for Papers open now

The previous edition of the event in 2022 was a great success, providing a platform for experts from industry and academia to exchange ideas and engage in discussions. Based on the positive feedback, we have decided to continue the symposium in 2024. The Wölfel Group will once again organize the event, with the Program Committee members playing the central role in setting the main topics of the conference and selecting the presentations from the submissions.

The Symposium holds great significance as wind turbines are highly dynamic systems subjected to various loads. Vibrations occurring in rotor blades, drive systems, and towers have an important impact on the operation, lifetime, and reliability of the entire turbine and its foundation. Optimal design and continuous monitoring of the system are crucial for efficient and cost-effective operation. The event provides an opportunity to present innovative solutions and best practices to further enhance the quality and efficiency of wind energy systems.
