EnBW hands over full-service hybrid agreement to Connected Wind Services
Connected Wind Services Group strengthens its position in the full-service market by winning the task of service and maintenance of 43 wind turbines, owned by German utility EnBW.
“The five-year contract with EnBW acknowledges our strong position in the O&M area in Sweden. We have previously collaborated with EnBW on basic service contract as well as in main component projects, and we are enormously proud to have signed this agreement with one of the major utilities in the market,” says Torbjörn Sjölin, CEO of the Swedish division of Connected Wind Services.
Connected Wind Service will have full responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the 43 turbines, divided on four wind farms in Mora and one in Dorotea municipality in Sweden.
“This is the first time Connected Wind Service in Sweden finalizes an agreement of this kind and scale, so in many ways it is a new, exciting chapter the business is entering. Fortunately, we already have skilled technicians in our organization, hence we are comfortable taking on the big responsibility. In addition, thanks to our group structure, we can urgently access additionally resources if needed”, says Robert Östman, Head of Sales and Marketing for Connected Wind Service in Sweden.
