Saipem: achieved important milestones in the Saint Brieuc and Formosa 2 offshore wind projects
Saipem reached important milestones in Wind Offshore, respectively for the Saint Brieuc in Brittany and the Formosa 2 in Taiwan projects.
Saipem has successfully completed the transport and installation of the jacket and topside of the electrical substation for the offshore wind farm in Saint-Brieuc, Brittany, France, developed by Ailes Marines, part of the Iberdrola group. The work was carried out in two phases by the Saipem 7000, one of the largest semi-submersible crane ships in the world, which is currently allowed to operate with a lifting capacity in line with Saint-Brieuc project technical requirements.
