New software enables harmonisation of operating data of offshore wind farms

Under the recently signed contract, Systematic is supplying its offshore management tool 'SITE', which can be used to manage all ship and personnel information as well as the existing operational data of all RWE's offshore projects. With the help of SITE, RWE aims to optimise the operation of its offshore wind farms by standardising all workflows, instructions and safety processes for both its own on-site operations and maintenance teams and service providers worldwide.

The cloud-based software SITE was developed specifically for the management of offshore wind farms and can be optimally adapted to the needs. It can be used to control both individual wind farms and a global portfolio. RWE plans to use the software for its entire global portfolio. It is currently already in use at the British offshore wind farms Humber Gateway and Rampion.
