Hitachi ABB Power Grids to Connect Dogger Bank to UK Mainland

The Dogger Bank Wind Farm in the North Sea will have a combined installed generation capacity of 3.6 GW, enough to power six million UK homes and is stated to be the largest offshore wind farm globally.

This comes after the Russian invasion of Ukraine and various acts of sabotage to energy infrastructure in the Baltic Sea have created new security concerns. The signatories commit to deter possible malign activities against offshore and underwater infrastructure within NATO and EU.
