Vattenfall expands its activities in the IJmuiden region and joins Amsterdam IJmuiden Offshore Ports
Swedish energy company Vattenfall, which is developing Hollandse Kust Zuid, the largest wind farm off the Dutch coast, is joining Amsterdam IJmuiden Offshore Ports (AYOP). This public-private association already boasts more than 85 companies and organizations that are active in the offshore energy sector in the port area. With its membership, Vattenfall wants to increase cooperation with regional companies.
As a pioneer in offshore wind, Vattenfall has been located in the port of IJmuiden for more than ten years, from where it operates a wind farm off the coast of Egmond together with Shell.
