Saipem Hires Cathie for Scottish Neart na Gaoithe Offshore Wind Farm

Cathie, the global offshore geoscience and geotechnical engineering consultancy, was contracted by Saipem to provide interpretation of the geotechnical conditions encountered at the Neart na Gaoithe (NnG) offshore wind farm situated off the Fife coast in the UK.

The project has the potential to generate 450MW of renewable energy, enough power to supply around 375,000 Scottish homes and will offset over 400,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.
