Acquisition of project rights for Scottish Wind farm
Global renewable energy developer, service provider and wholesaler BayWa r.e. has acquired the consented Tralorg Wind Farm from Brookfield Renewable Partners.
The wind farm, located in South Ayrshire in the southwest of Scotland, secured planning permission in 2014. Once installed, the wind farm will have a capacity of 18.8 MW comprising of eight 2.35 MW turbines. Matthias Taft, Board Member of BayWa AG, commented: “We are extremely pleased to have acquired the Tralorg wind farm and to be continuing our successful role in project development in Scotland.
