The last two offshore substation topsides have just left Bladt
The last two offshore substation topsides for the Ørsted Hornsea Project One have just left Bladt Industries' site in Aalborg, Denmark.
Back in May 2016 Ørsted awarded Bladt Industries a contract for the fabrication of three offshore substation topsides for the world's largest offshore wind farm, Hornsea Project One. This was a historical order for Bladt, as it was the first time for Bladt to fabricate three substations at the same time. The Hornsea Project One Offshore Wind Farm will have a capacity of 1.2 GW in total, with 174 wind turbines and four substations (three OSS' and one RCS).
