EDP Renewables (Euronext: EDPR), a global leader in the renewable energy sector and one of the world’s largest wind energy producers, announces that that its Canadian subsidiary, EDP Renewables Canada Ltd., has been awarded a 20-year Renewable Energy Support Agreement (RESA), for the delivery of 248.4 MW of onshore wind generation by the Alberta Electricity System Operator (“AESO”).
