The product maintains Goldwind's Permanent Magnet Direct Drive (PMDD) turbine technology and is a direct evolution of the existing 3S platform – a turbine series that has industry-leading availability and performance. Goldwind's 4S Permanent Magnet Direct-Drive (PMDD) wind turbine capitalizes on the scalability and supply chain of the 3S platform to bring turbines with a rated power range between 4.0 and 4.2MW.
