Laos: Ge:Net delivers measurement systems and equipment for 15 masts to Laos

Ge:Net got a major order for the equipment of 15 mast with measurement technique and special booms in Laos. In addition to the delivery of the components Ge:Net will conduct the assembly including a training of local engineers and technicians. The masts are 100m high and are distributed to 15 sites in the southern part of Laos.

The shipment started already 10th of June one week earlier as promised. The assembly shall start before end of June. Ge:Net will conduct a broad assembly training lead by an experienced supervisor hence the customer is able to assemble further measurement systems and booms single-handedly.

In detail a measurement system consist of a data logger a core component, wind velocity sensors (anemometers), wind vanes, air pressure, air temperature and humidity sensors as well as the necessary power supply. The data logger records and stores the raw data. Once a day they are saved to a data server. Additionally the data logger sends a status e-mail once a day about the status and any disturbances. During disturbances or if the cellular radio availability is to low the data logger stores data internally for at least six months.

Ge:Net was capable of providing all necessary components in the shortest period of time. 10.000m cable for all sensors have been assembled and tested within eight days.
