Wind Prospect will provide construction project management and turbine procurement services on a sub-contract basis to 3E, a leading Energy, Ecology, and Engineering consultancy company, for the 50MW Yereymentau wind farm on behalf of Kazakhstan’s national energy firm JSC Samruk-Energo.
Yereymentau wind farm, located 150km east of Astana, marks Wind Prospect’s first piece of work in Kazakhstan where the team will be based onsite to deliver tender preparation and management of the EPC contract, turbine supply, and construction management services over a two and a half year period.
In November 2014, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) agreed to finance the project, which became the first power generation project to secure funding from the Clean Technology Fund (CTF).

Construction is expected to commence in June 2016 with completion anticipated 12 to 24 months later.
Together with partners Wind Prospect, 3E recently won a contract to provide wind monitoring services to Alpha Centre, a recognised service/supply company who represent wind monitoring equipment manufactures and erect/install monitoring masts throughout the territory of Kazakhstan.
