About the event
Taking place once every two years, EWEA OFFSHORE 2013 will provide offshore wind energy industry professionals with an opportunity to network, share knowledge and most importantly, to close deals.
Growing since its beginning, this event is now the world's largest offshore wind energy conference and exhibition. In the past this event has been extremely successful due to the wide-spread attendance from the whole of the supply chain and cross-over between industries within the offshore sector.
The 2011 edition saw speeches from Günther Oettinger, the EU's Energy Commissioner and Fergus Ewing, Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Tourism for Scotland and Christian Kjaer, CEO of EWEA, as well as high-level panel debates and in-depth sessions on sea-based wind turbines, enhanced grids and project financing.
