Today, the company is present in all important wind power markets of the world with its own subsidiaries and production sites. Managing Director Winfried Czilwa explains what changes and benefits this will produce for wind power systems manufacturers across the globe.

Windfair: What made you decide to expand your production operations to include international markets?

Winfried Czilwa: We have been successfully collaborating with internationally active wind power systems manufacturers for more than 10 years now. To this end, we believed that the successive establishment of our own global network was extremely important, as we do – of course – orient our business on the needs and requirements of our internationally operating customers. With Brazil, the USA and China, we are now optimally positioned as this network allows us to directly reach our clientele in all important wind power markets throughout the world.

Windfair: The industry as a whole associates the name Hailo with the “Made in Germany” quality standard. Will you be able to meet the requirements in the future?

Winfried Czilwa: Of course, we will. Our high quality standards are, and remain, our top priority within our global network. We implement our standards in Germany to our international locations, as our products and services must ensure optimum safety and comfortable working conditions. At all times and in all places. There can be no exceptions here.

Windfair: Compared to before, what has concretely changed or improved for your customers as a result of expanding your international network?

Winfried Czilwa: As a total solutions provider with tailor-made concepts, we continue to assume the responsibility for the complete tower equipment to allow our customers to focus on their core business. What has improved here is the fact that we are now able to better adapt to the respective local conditions. To this end, it is absolutely essential in some countries and regions that we are familiar with the country- or region-specific situation to allow us to accompany our customers as a competent partner at all times. Furthermore, our local concept and the associated close proximity to our customers have a positive impact on delivery times, which in turn is reflected in attractive prices.
