The Nordex Group has been awarded a contract for the installation of the “Pays Chaumontais” wind farm. With a capacity of 14.4 MW, the project is composed of six N117/2400 turbines that will be installed in Jonchery around 250 kilometres south-west of Paris in the first quarter of 2018.

In June 2017, Nordex has received further orders for 72 MW from Turkey. The customer Pakmem Elektrik ordered a total of 16 N131/3600 turbines for the "Cerit" project, to be delivered by the wind turbine manufacturer as of spring 2018. Pakmem Elektrik has also signed a Premium Service Agreement covering a period of fifteen years.

The Nordex Group has secured a follow-up order from Norway. For Midtfjellet Vindkraft AS, a long-standing customer, the manufacturer will be supplying eleven N117/3600 turbines for the Midtfjellet III wind farm on the island of Stord in the south-west of Norway.

In February this year the Nordex Group installed a 3 MW turbine on a 134 metre tubular steel tower in a test field operated by windtest grevenbroich gmbh for GP Joule, a project developer.

Erdem Holding A.S. has placed another order with Nordex to deliver and install a wind farm. The manufacturer is to supply ten N131/3900 turbines for the "Eber" wind farm. A Premium Service covering at least 15 years also forms part of the deal.

During a review of the budget for the financial year 2017 and the medium-term target 2018, the Management Board of Nordex SE concluded today that revenue this year is likely to amount to 3.1 to 3.3 billion Euros. Reduced expectations for business in certain core markets are the reasons for a lower revenue expectation in 2017 compared to 2016 and the previous budget.

On 3 February 2017 the Nordex Group received the unit certificate according to VDE-AR-N 4120 (Technical requirements for the connection and operation of customer installations to the high voltage network (TCC High Voltage) for the N117/3000 turbine from FGH Zertifizierungsgesellschaft mbH in Mannheim.
