Iberdrola is going to build its largest wind farm in Latin America in Brazil
It will be located in Paraíba, one of the windiest states in America
In the north-east of Brazil, Iberdrola, through its Brazilian subsidiary Neoenergia, is going to build its largest renewable energy facility in Latin America: the Paraíba wind farm complex, with 471 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity, which will add to the already operational 94.5 MW. The Paraíba complex will consist of 18 wind farms and will be located next to the town of Santa Luzia, in one of the areas with the most wind power potential in the Americas.
