Lightning is an unpredictable natural event. Tests with Villinger anti./de.icing systems in a lightning laboratory ended with outstanding results as lightning residue showed path of lightning which followed conductive coating on top surface of the blade section - plasma energy was reduced - blade material remained undamaged.
