Helihoist platforms

Fiberline’s helihoist platforms enable service technicians to be airlifted by helicopter to offshore wind turbines even in bad weather.

Turbine servicing requirements demand long-life platforms, and the strength, durability and weather-resistance of Fiberline profiles make them ideal for helihoist construction.

Low product weight also allows easy assembly and contributes to all-round structural stability.

Anti-static solutions that equalize the electrostatic potential between helicopter and wind turbine are also available.

Workplatform

Fiberline gratings are used for workplatform in the splash zone at offshore wind turbines.

The gratings combine high strength with low weight and are also non-conducting and easy to install.

The gratings are non-corrosive and so the structure requires virtually no maintenance.
