FT702 LT and FT702LT/D

The FT702 product range is the only wind sensor specifically designed for Turbine Control and is one of the few to be UL certified. Its small size and robust construction mean that it can give many years of reliable service despite the harsh conditions found on many wind farms.

To date over 40,000 have been installed on turbines around the world.

• Is highly resistant to lightning and EMC damage
• Is waterproof and dust proof to IP67
• Is salt water corrosion resistant to class C5-M
• Is highly resistant to icing due to its small size and three heaters
• Passes a drop test to EN 60068-2-31
• Is UL 61010 certified
• Passes Def Stan 00-35 CL 25 for operations in sand and dust

The sophisticated software of the sensor constantly adjusts the soundfield for variations in pressure and humidity and validates outgoing data quality.

All sensors are checked and calibrated before leaving the factory and after that they require no scheduled maintenance or calibration.

The FT702 can be supplied with an RS485 interface (FT702LT) or a 4-20mA interface (FT702LT/D).
