UK - Gamesa opens offshore wind energy R&D centre in Glasgow

A new €14 million centre to develop next-generation offshore wind power technology in Scotland has been officially opened by First Minister Alex Salmond and Jorge Calvet, CEO of Gamesa.

Gamesa plans to reach a market share of between 10% and 15% by 2020 in the business of offshore wind farm and wind turbines.
