France - CSO Energy acquires two new customers

France’s biggest wind farm is now almost completely in the hands of CSO Energy

CSO Energy GmbH was able to further broaden its customer base in France. By signing contracts with Eneryo and Pluirpower, CSO Energy's management portfolio was extended by 2 wind farms, each made up of four wind turbines with a total output of 16 MW, thereby increasing the portfolio in France to a total output of 187 MW.

The eight wind turbines are part of the Fruges wind farm, which is one of the biggest wind projects in France, with 140 MW. With these new contracts, CSO Energy’s overall output now reaches 126 MW, thereby managing the biggest part of the Fruges wind farm.

“As wind farm operator we aim to ensure constant operation of the wind farms and maximize investment returns”, says Eneryo Director Sébastian Dubois explaining the decision regarding the cooperation with CSO Energy. “In order to achieve this we need a long-term partnership with a company which not only has comprehensive knowledge in operation and maintenance of wind farms, but also offers first-class services. Expertise and experience in troubleshooting as well as the presence of regional representatives are essential to ensure a quick response to problems. CSO Energy fulfils these criteria.”

“The acquisition of both new customers has made it possible for us to exceed our growth objectives for 2009 and pursue the dynamic and constant growth of the previous years”, says Markus Lesser, Managing Director of CSO Energy GmbH. “This proves that we were able to gain the trust of customers with our services - an essential requirement for the development of our international business which will also be our focus in 2010.”
