PNE WIND AG SELECTED TO PRESENT AT THE 2010 CLEANEQUITY MONACO CONFERENCE

PNE WIND AG has been selected to present at CleanEquity Monaco 2010, the foremost event for next generation clean and green technology. The conference takes place March 4th and 5th at the Sporting d'Hiver, Monaco.

An expert selection of the world's most inspiring cleantech companies will be presenting to invited industry-specific financial and strategic investors, policy makers, legislators and media.

Innovator Capital, London specialist investment bank, hosts the annual invitation-only event. CleanEquity Monaco's regional host is the Monaco Chamber of Economic Development.

Other local partners include Prince Albert II of Monaco's Foundation, the Monte Carlo SBM, and the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation. Collaborators for the 2010 event include Arup, Covington and Burling LLP, the Hugin Group, Invest Securities, Royal Philips Electronics NV and the UNEP Fi.

Plenary sessions, led by sector experts, will discuss and identify key industry themes, drivers and constraints, as well as forward looking trends.

The German wind farm developer PNE WIND AG plans and implements wind farm projects on land (onshore) and at sea (offshore). Its core competence is the development, planning, implementation and financing of wind farms and their operation or sale including subsequent service. So far, the company has set up 92 wind farms with 535 wind energy systems and a total nominal output of 770 MW. Alongside its business activities in the established German home market, PNE WIND AG is also increasingly investing in dynamic growth markets and has representations via subsidiaries and joint ventures in Hungary, Bulgaria, Turkey, UK, Ireland, Rumania, USA and Canada. Wind farm projects with a nominal output of about 1,700 MW are currently being processed and are to be implemented in the medium term. Furthermore, PNE WIND AG develops offshore wind farm projects, three of which have already been approved in German waters. Entering promising foreign markets is also being examined for the offshore area.
