New Sales Management at Voith Industrial Services Wind in Rerik

Silke Steen took over responsibility for sales at Voith Industrial Services Wind in July 2009. The post of sales director was newly created to reflect the constant expansion of the service company that is independent of manufacturers. Steen previously spent more than six years as Authorised Representative at the rotor blade specialists, WKA-Service-Fehmarn GmbH.

The core skills of Voith Industrial Services Wind include the professional maintenance and servicing of all components associated with wind turbines, as well as the inspection, assembly and repowering. The consistent development and implementation of status-oriented, preventive or also cyclic maintenance concepts, permanent monitoring and optimisation of the system technologies significantly improve the availability while boosting output. There are also plans aimed at making it possible to offer customers a guaranteed availability of spare parts for different system types.
