Venezuela - Gamesa wins 116 mln EUR wind power deal
Gamesa has agreed to supply 100 megawatts of installed wind capacity to Venezuelan state oil firm PDVSA for nearly 116 million euros ($150 million), the Spanish wind turbine maker said on Wednesday.
Work on the contract will begin in 2009 and involve the supply, installation and two years of maintenance for the 76 wind turbines which make up Venezuela's first wind farm, located in the state of Falcon.
