Intellifast introduces 24 Channel Multiplexer for Test Rig Application

Besides measuring the clamp load at site our customer increasingly use their rugged PMTS transducers for continuous monitoring in test rigs.

Intellifast has developed for one of their customers in the wind turbine industry a 24 channel multiplexer which controls sequentially data inputs from 24 sensors on the test-rig with the corresponding temperature probe compensation. The multiplexer operates with wires w/ or w/o preamplifiers. Integrating preamplifiers into the single measurement cables improves the quality of the received echo from those bolts having poor ultrasonic characteristics.

Frequency of measurement at individual sensors can be selected independently. Measurements take place within 0.5 to 1.5 seconds.

Using an analogue output attached to the LP3000B measuring instrument results are transferred into the customer’s data logger. Alternatively an Ethernet interface of the LP3000B can be used.

Software now available in 3 languages

The software for the standard measuring device LP3000B is now available in three languages (French, English, and German). When a customer orders a new device he has the choice of having this software version installed. Customers already owning a device can have this software installed in Speyer by paying a small service charge.
