In 1990 Ernst Dobler founded the Ernst Dobler GmbH - a company that is specialized in machining. The first company was based in Burgfarnbach near Nuremberg. Due to the company's flexibility, quality and delivery reliability as well as that certain share of luck the Ernst Dobler GmbH quickly developed into the preferred supplier of turbine OEMs for the energy industry. Since then the company was steadily expanding in size as well as in competence.
Today about 100 employees work for the ERNST DOBLER Group at the production sites in Fuerth near Nuremberg and Goerlitz. With the technologies of turning, milling and wire cut erosion ERNST DOBLER manufactures turbine parts and components for gas and steam turbines up to 150 MW and more for several leading turbine OEM in Europe. The turbine OEMs appreciate ERNST DOBLER as a reliable partner for the production of highly complex parts and components in single-item production for service and serial production. Depending on what the client's requirements and wishes the ERNST DOBLER can carry out the complete assembly of the components or individual production steps.
Due to the high and varying requirements of the clients the ERNST DOBLER relies not only on world-class machinery in action, but also focuses on employee qualification and long- term staff commitment. This leads to a very low fluctuation of staff and full dedication for the client. For some of the supporting technologies and processes such as grinding, coating and heat treatment the ERNST DOBLER has also established a reliable network of suppliers that are coordinated for the client according to the necessities of the jobs.
Both production sites are of course also ISO 9001 (registration-no. 01 100 030897/08 und 01 100 030897/75) certified. Additionally the company holds several customer specific certificates according to the requirements.
