The new-generation medium-speed EW25.0-310 turbine – unveiled at this month's China Wind Power Exhibition in Beijing – is due to have a power rating of 25MW and a rotor diameter of 310 metres. It is designed to withstand average wind speeds of 10m/s and wind speeds of up to 57m/s, according to Shanghai Electric.
