PGE Baltica won a proceeding for the new location permit

"Obtaining the highest number of points by PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna in the procedure for issuing a permit in the area 43.E.1 means that PGE we will be able to develop offshore wind farms in this area. It is located close to our other offshore wind projects under development and to the service port which  is under construction in Ustka, which will allow us to take advantage of the synergy effect and the scale of our operations. This gives us an advantage and distinguishes us from the competition, because it allows us to shorten processes and optimize the costs of many project tasks," commented Wojciech D?browski, President of the Management Board of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna.

"This permit, in addition to our other three offshore wind farm projects in the Baltic Sea with a total installed capacity of approximately 3.4 GW, is another step towards achieving the strategic goal of the PGE Group. That is to have at least 6.5 GW of installed generation capacity in the Baltic Sea by 2040," added the president of PGE.
